Denise founded SVN PR on the basis of her expertise and experience working in public relations, strategic communications, and government affairs.
From developing and executing unprecedented wins in the 2000 presidential campaign, to working in the White House, to representing innovative companies like Tesla and Sapphire Energy in Washington, D.C. and California, Denise loves to win big and has the track record to prove it.
Denise is a California native, a graduate of Bowdoin College, and a Georgetown University Law Center alumna, licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia. She sits on the board of San Diego-based tech company, Spritzr, San Diego Startup Week, and serves as a founding board member of one of California’s twelve Innovation Hubs. She is also an adjunct curator for Summit, and a regular political commentator on One America News Network. On any given morning you can find Denise pounding the pool or pavement, training for her next triathlon.
Sheena has spent her entire career working at the intersection of media and politics.
Prior to founding SVN PR, Sheena managed all media relations and operations responsibilities as Chief of Staff to Karl Rove. She developed relationships with top tier media outlets over the years, ultimately securing more than 1,700 interviews for Rove. Sheena also managed all facets of the book tour for Karl Rove’s memoir, Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight, landing it on the New York Times bestseller list.
Sheena earned her B.A. at University of California, Irvine and received an M.S. in Journalism from The Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University. She was named to OC Metro magazine’s annual “Forty Under 40” list in 2013 and recently completed the Tory Burch Foundation Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program for female-owned businesses. She is a regular contributor to Entrepreneur.com and One America News Network. Sheena is our resident expert on all things travel, style, and luxury.
Kristen Caron comes to SVN PR with a unique and comprehensive knowledge of campaigning and media.
Prior to joining SVN PR, Kristen worked as a core member of the Communications Team for Governor Mitt Romney’s Presidential Campaign. In addition to securing interviews for Governor Romney and senior campaign officials, Kristen developed and implemented comprehensive communications plans for major campaign events, including the presidential debates. Before joining the campaign, Kristen worked for U.S Senator Scott Brown of Massachusetts in Washington, D.C. Kristen has since applied her campaign savvy to the private sector, specializing in tech start up and biotech messaging.
Kristen received her B.A. from the University of Maine, and her M.P.S. in Political Management from George Washington University. She is an avid reader of all things news and tech, loves the outdoors, and is easily bribed with chocolate and coffee.
